Today was my long day, class all morning and afternoon. However the day started for me at 5 with two little words "ultimate frisbee"! God damn do I love that game.

Well this was a very eventful weekend, let me tell you all about it...
Friday: I opened at work for the first time which meant being there at 7 am. Then I toke a nap because I only got 3 hours of sleep before work. Then I had my conduct hearing for getting caught smoking. I got off easy, only probation and a stupid paper about drug use in colleges. Lame! Any who after that you would think I would take it easy on the partying but alas I fear I may not have learned my lesson because I proceded to split a liter of Captian's with a friend on the floor.
Saturday: This day was rather uneventful actually so I won't bore you with the details but basically I went to gamestop and worked again.
Sunday: So after Friday you might be thinking "how much more exciting can this get" and I understand your concern. However my floor getting flooded might do it. I guess I should say that it wasn't really flooded as so much one room got completly destroyed by water. It all started at 1 when I was rudly awoken by the fire alarm. When I got outside I was informed that some jackass on the floor above us it a sprinkler with a football and the water is now pouring threw the ceiling into our friends room and making into the surrounding rooms. I didnt get back into my room until 8 when I got out of work. Lucky for me my room was far enough down the hall not to be affected but it was up the air for awhile.
So yeah, that was my weekend in a nutshell.

Ever have one of those moments where you realize something about yourself all at once? I think I just realized tonight I'm in love with someone I can't be. Thats all I have to say about this, but since no one reads this thing, I figured this couldn't do any harm.

Today was great!

2. I decided to sleep threw my first class and when I got up I got an email that the class had been canceled anyways. How lucky is that?!
3. Showed up to my second class but forgot to get lunch first and I was really hungry. When the professor got there he told us that he forgot to copy out homework and he would be staring class 20 minutes late!

6. Played some quality video games and chilled with Brian for awhile which was fun.
7. New South Park was on and hilarious.
And on top of all this the weather was gorgeous today for the first time in months.

No one can feel bad when listening to Sweetness by Jimmy Eat World. Thats science. I was in the shittest mood all day and then Sweetness came on my iPod as I stepped outside to a sunny blue sky and I felt better for 3 minutes and 40 seconds.

I'm bored. Not just right now, even though that is true as well, but with life in general. This is not to say that I am unhappy, on the contrary I am happier than I have been in so very long, but I am just in the doldrums. I like my classes and I enjoy hanging out with the people I do, and going to the gym everyday and all that but...I want more. I want something exciting to happen, something I can go do, go accomplish, take part in. I don't know what exactly, just something different. Not someone though, something. I am enjoying my new found freedom and would prefer to stay that way this quarter but I just need to go do something... This is going no where really, I'm just talking in circles.

I woke up at 1 today but I still got a bunch done. I went to the gym for a while with Amar and got my laundry done. The gym was tough because I'm still a little sick plus I'm not in good shape heh heh. But today was a good start and we are going to go more often. Not much else happened today, I've just been playing games between stuff and went to dinner at the commons.
Tonight we are going out I think, which is good because I could use a few drinks to help me with my short story assignment.

ok so I missed the first two days of german because I signed up for the class last night and it kicked my ass today. I'm not to worried about it but holy crap am I confused!
In other news I went to the bookstore and priced out my book and was all ready to buy them when I remembered I didnt have my wallet, I'm dumb.
So now I have like another 30 min to kill before my logic class so I'm updating this and eating lunch.

I love the view out of my window. I spend far more time than I should sitting at my desk listening to music and staring out the window. If I had a better camera or a cable to connect it to my computer I would share.
I finally got around to swinging by the CS building and dropping off my add form for scriptwriting so I am officially in the class. First class Thursday for that. Also I dropped a class that I had signed up for as a filler till I could something I wanted and I am taking Beginning German I, which should be fun.
I've got nothing I need to do right now and nobody is around so I think I'm gonna go play some video games.

Not much new to report, I just got back on campus late last night. New quarter starts today and I'm really excited to start fresh here. I think things are going to be better this quarter. New room and roommate, new classes, and no significant ties to home. Yes things are going to be great. Who ever said change is a good thing knew what they were talking about.

Heh heh, I could really go for a drink. But its ok, I will have all I want on Friday :) I know that sounds bad, but I couldn't be happier. I've been having one of those months that really makes you take a good long look at your life.
I'm sitting in my basement, its 3am on Thursday march 6th, I'm listening to Keasbey Nights alone in my boxers, and today is best day of my life. Do you know the feeling you get when you finish a book that was great at first but was a chore to finish because it just dragged on & on & on, but its ok because you have something much better to read now? Well I do, and in that cheap metaphor is how I feel about my life to far.
I've realized how much time I have been wasting by folding to my many inhibitions. And folding to the whims of the people in my life who looked down on things I enjoy.
So I say "fuck off" if you have ever look down on someone for something that is none of your business. And leave people alone if you don't agree with what they want to do, it isn't your life, so stay out of it. But worse than the dissenters and the naysayers are the people who listen to them. No one is more guilty of this than me, in face I have spent that last few years conforming to what others wanted and expected from me. But today is the day I stop listening and start living for myself.
To sum it up best is a quote from the Offspring song All I Want, and it goes like this...

Today officially kicks off my college career, and what better way to do it than with writing seminar! What...that doesn't sound right. Oh well. Actually it wasn't that bad, the Professor is really cool and easy going, he even encouraged us calling him Professor Rob, should be a decent class and I already know one person in the class from my OA group. The class is from 8am to 9:50 but he let us out half an hour early, it was nice.
Ok well now I have until 4pm off to do homework I guess, but I need the book for that and me and a few people from the floor are going to the book store in town together later today so that will have to wait.
I'm gonna try to keep going with this, so leave me a comment and let me know I'm not talking to myself here.
